Tambor Leather Backpack

Our small leather Tambor Backpack is uniquely crafted from fine thick-cut leather in Chiapas, Mexico. The paper pattern is drawn out on the hide and cut. The pattern pieces are embossed and further embellished with decorative leather stitching before being assembled using a punch and tool method. This involves hole punching the edges and hand sewing the pieces together. The leather is then varnished to give a beautiful mahogany colour.  It features a unique wooden toggle fastening and adjustable leather straps.
